Petrol on paintwork

by parthiban, 08-12-2017, 11:06 AM

Stupidly dribbled some fuel on the paintwork yesterday after filling up - wiped it off straight away with some tissue but just wanted to check whether I need to clean the area thoroughly or is petrol not going to do anything to the paint anyway?

Ever had this happen??

by Bandit, 07-12-2017, 01:44 PM

Was just in the chemist picking up a prescription, myself and another chap sat waiting when the woman from behind the counter shouted my name out? Myself and the other chap both stood up and went over to her, Thought that's odd and went to take the package off her, and she hands it to the other chap?? so i said i'm Mr Chris Goring and he said so am i

Never met anyone with the same name as me before and found it quite funny, but a bit weird too at the same time

Anybody else ever met themselves :w00t:

Been taken for £75 from ebay seller demon1tn, guy from essex breaking a '03 is200, stay clear, seemed genuine, he called me when i sent my phone number, said he had a problem with paypal account, so stupidly i just bank transferred the cash to him, he then mailed back saying he did not have the part he first thought but has not re-funded me the money and is not answering my mails.

STAY CLEAR OF demon1tn!!!!!!!!!!!

The ring !?!?!

by Davros, 05-12-2017, 09:37 PM

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if any one from here was planning on going back to the Nurburgring this year ?

I have had a look around on various other forums I use, and there hasn’t really been any mention yet. I know there are the usual groups from North Loop, and PH that are going, and even though I have met them in the past, I always feel like a small fish in a big pond with them.

I originally wanted to go with a Lexus group last year, but lacking with funds was the only reason I couldn’t make it. I still would like to make a trip with some Lexus owning people at some point, as past ring trips with Lexus' in convoy and on the track together always looked so cool !

**Side note**
I know this is an all Jap car club, and I have no issues with going with other car manufactures.
Actually, I welcome it, as this could be my first all Jap Ring trip, and I also enjoy the convoy drive there and back.

But like I said, previous pictures and tales of all Lexus' going to the ring look so much fun, and when I have been there in the past, and seeing owner car clubs together, they always seem to stick out more.

I am just weird like that, and I don’t mean to cause any offence !
