I know this is not eBay but still I want to give feedback on him lol.
He is a good buyer, he bought my DSi off me. So thank you mate.
And he collected it from my house, when the arrangements were to meet halfway, so he is also a good man for doing that too.
Thanks

Hi all
With the cold weather lately and me not really driving the car that much, i got fed up of going out to the car to find the battery being flat and then having to wait for the AA to come and boost the battery, so went out and bought a booster pack a few weeks ago.
They normally go for about £50 odd at halfords, so thought id let you guys know of the offer maplins have :thumbup1:

Tomorrow morning I am off to Bedford Autodrome. Patrick at Rogue Motorsport has organised some ARDS tests at a trackday that's running tomorrow, so some of my friends are going to take their tests in the afternoon following some trackday practice. Hopefully we will see some class B racing driver licences being awarded! I'm not taking part myself, just going to watch.
I'm also taking a friend along who is interesting in becoming a racing driver, or at least getting some serious trackday experience, so we are going along to find out how everything works and what's required. I know my friend Dan who is doing his test in the afternoon has had to have an MSA-approved medical etc.
I'll take some photos of the day, might well be some expensive metal there!
Not my review but borrowed from the Rx site
"Well, for a start......dry grip.....
Just plain WOW! Absolutaly fantastic, and better than the RE050's (ed:Bridgestone Potenza RE050) and the Yoko S306 I had prior to them. I never actually got the back end to break away despite my best efforts!
Wet Grip
About the same as the RE050A. Though maybe doesnt quite give the same amount of warning about when its going to break away. But when it goes, its progressive and easy to handle.
Road noise is probably the same as the Bridstones and Yoko's. Hard to tell as I had a loud exhaust/intake note.
I did about 1000 miles in them, and they scrubbed in nicely.
All in all for the price I would say you cant go wrong!"
So as I say not my review but good recommendation.
Well I have just got back from 4 days in the mountains of Bulgaria, I hired a BMW 5 series, with winter tyres fitted as it is winter!! the car drove perfectly, never slipped, skidded etc nothing that you associate with RWD cars in snow, I am 100% converted to winter tyres now, you have to try them to see, well worth the investment if you want to avoid a crash. I even had to reverse up a steep hill to give way to a truck - no slipping unbelievable.
The snow was 2 to 3 feed deep in places so the shovel supplied with the car came in handy!! we stopped on a motorway as the road was blocked and in only 45 mins the snow was falling so hard and blowing around so much the snow was up to the windows, not touching the car it left a gap- must be the way the wind was blowing................. Great fun but so dangerous looking back.
Out there every shop was open, taxis were operating as normal. The only thing to watch out for was the marble shop steps - slipperier than skating rinks
Pretty cold -5 in the day and -16 at night, still trying to warm up!!
:mad:hi there,
i bought gap insurance from sun and protect for my car in june and paid around £90 for it. some people may know i was involved in a car accident which the lexus took a lot of damage and it is a write off.
i got offered from the insurance company a sum of £5800 before excess. i purchased my gap insurance through surf and protect which is a thrid party company. i phoned up surf and protect end of may and got a quote for the insurance which was saved for 14 days and at that time the car was valued at £6100 and they would pay £250 excess so at the start of june i bought the insurance. now i am claiming money from gap insurance company which they would pay me £550 but now they turn around and said to me i bought the insurance at the start of june and surf and protect used May valutions which was £6100 but they should have used June valuations which was £5735 and now they are not making a claim because the insurance company is paying more than the value of the car so thats me losing £550.
on the insurance certificate it says the car value is £6100 so i contact surf and protect and the person who i spoke to said he is going to forward this to the director and he will get in touch with me.
any idea what i should do now??

Not really, but I've been losing weight for a couple of weeks now and I expect to reach my goal around April this year.
A few years ago I got a job at an office and that resulted in a weight gain of 15kg (33 pounds). I'm 186cm tall and my weight at the beginning of this year was 104,8kg (231 pounds). Although I wasn't round my BMI was 30,3 which means obese.
Anyway, I've now been taking 1 hour walks every day and I'm keeping to the GI method (No, not the US Army method). My main food is taco salad and I'm staying away from all beverages that contain sugar.
Does it work? Oh yes! I thought I'd keep you updated in this thread as I'm slowly moving towards my goal of 85kg (187 pounds).
This is my chart that I'm updating every day. The red line illustrates an average weight loss of 1kg (2,2 pounds) per week. The blue line is my actual weight from day to day. As long as I'm below the red line I'm happy :tongue_smilie:

My first important goal is Monday, 8th March when one of my sisters is getting married. I have to be able to wear my suit that was tailored for me a few years ago. Wish me luck :w00t:
Right, time has come to replace all 4 tyres.
Currently have the Goodyear Eagle F1A's- they have been good, although they seem to have worn quickly. The F1A's have lasted 16.5k- I do a lot of motorway/dual carriageway driving, I was expecting to get about 25k out of the F1A's or am I expecting too much? I always swap my tyres (back to front) every 5k to get even wear.
Anyway, I have gone for the Yokohama C drive assymetrics as replacements- I thought I'd try another brand. Would have gone for the F1A's again, if I did less mileage. The F1A's are great in the wet and the drip is awesome. I've gone for the Yokohama's as they have the assymetric design, which I think works well.
The Yokohamas come in at £95 each (inc fitting) where as the F1A's are £115 each. Tyretraders.com are supplying the tyres.
Will report back my findings on the Yokohamas once I have got them fitted.
