Petrol Prices gone up yet again

Well has anyone been out today to get their cars top up with fuel?

Our lovely government has added another 2p to a litre of fuel.
Those lazy MP are still away on their holidays and prices still go up.

Who knows the actually price of a litre of fuel before any taxes get added?

Then work out what tax you're paying and let us know on here...

I for one would join a rally to Westminster to complain at these excess charges that this and every government in power hit it work force with.

Couple of facts: we pay the highest diesel prices in Europe.
If you work for a medium to large company and you park at work your soon have to pay around £250 a year to park in the same place your been parking every day since your been at work for free.

Been a busy day !

Crashed it friday, steering wheel fixed Saturday, body fixed today, on my backstreet !

Heres some before and afters, what you think?

It was hard work, especially since the last thing I eat was this morning at 4am, and since been fasting and got to wait till around 8ish till I can eat, proper dehydrated at the moment :blink:


How it was after Friday's accident:



Bumper came off and Headlight:



Wing came off, which was easier then I thought:



New wing went on, new bumper going on:



And the finished product, proper pleased with it:




In total cost me 100 quid, 55 for the wishbone and labour, and 15 for the wing and 30 for the bumper, all in the right color and local pickup.

My insurance was taken out as Third Party which is good as if it was Comp, then the excess would have been around 600 due to my age.


Big on my face now, can go work tomorrow at 6am in my own car now

the wil dissapear when i get my renewual in november lol

Tax and NI

Hi everyone !

Does anyone know an excel formalu for deduction of tax and NI from an amount?

I spoke to my manager at work today and gave all the dates and time I am going to to do overtime, and she advised to me to create a spreadsheet and keep a personal spreadsheet of overtime ive done, with NI and tax deductions, and she said not to trust the company to get it right.

come up with the spreadsheet, just need to work out how much NI and tax in a simple formula, ill keep working on it, but if anyone knows of one, help please !

Spec's
QV Pontiac registered Corvette 350 450 bhp Tuned V8 Engine on a Porsche type 32 Turbo Gearbox too take the power Headers holly 4 choke carb.

I would be rude to this car and dress it in all the wim decal... but i hesitate?

I know the Countach is a marmite car but could owning it say i'm flash or to successful meaning we are very expensive, or could this car just transport my company statement by saying we perfect performance and inspire handling?

Hy everyone, just come up with an idea this morning, well this came from the Mrs.

As many of you know I have been searching for a job for ages, I currently work within a callcentre 16 hours per week at the weekends, 2 days out of 7.

Now they have full time positions available which I requested then im sorted on the job front, however they denied this request because they need more people at the weekend then full time, so cant afford to release me to monday to friday.

Now the idea is, working 7 days?? I am willing to do this, as it gives me a great opputunity to get myself straight financially, and ideally was looking to do this anywhere with another job during the week.

Now I know theres law on about hours of work and stuff, but if i put it in writing that I would like to request to 56 hours per week 7 days, would this suffice? or is the law strict and there is a limit?

any advice please, or personal experiances
